Sightsavers:
a heart-warming tale
Challenge. To encourage Sightsavers supporters to consider leaving a legacy and to disclose any provision they may have made for the charity in their Will.
Solution. A simple but striking postcard inserted in Sightsavers’ supporter magazine and a mailing. Featuring a black and white photograph of a legator, Zoe, it told the story of her gift and its impact – in a way that struck a big chord with its audience.
Results. The 'Zoe' campaign generated 16% more pledges and information requests than Sightsavers previous legacy drive, and also raised more than £5,000 in unsolicited donations.
We have also worked with the RAF Benevolent Fund and Cancer Research UK on their Legacy programmes.
